Been a while since I visited Nola's, but still as good as I remembered. We had a team dinner there and had a room all to ourselves. The art and ambiance is awesome and when you add in the staff and the food - you can't go wrong! Whole team enjoyed their dinners.

Not the most exciting place with all the suits and ties, but they have great small plates as well as mains, and wonderful craft cocktails.

All were very pleased with the food. Atmosphere was really fun and staff was excellent. We spent some time at the bar where the staff was excellent, fun, professional and gave active recommendations when asked. Then moved to a table for dinner and the fun continued with a great dinner, top service and a great atmosphere. I can highly recommend... More

Service was great. Food is very mediocre. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, few appetizers and couples main dishes to share among food five friends. Shrimps on grits and crab /avocado were excellent. Ribs, jambalaya and chicken waffles were not memorable. Ribs were fallen apart but not in a tasty way; just plain dry. Chicken was very dry and waffles... More

Nola's has been the place to be in Palo Alto for the last 10-15 years, great location, amazing space with awesome decoration and your average food and service. It's fun for happy hour or a nice diner upstairs and you can even reserve your own space for a crowded day. Can't believe the lack of more restrooms in this place... More

Made a last minute reservation for 5:15pm which was perfect for us because we don't like to eat late. Clayton was our server and he was great. Definitely made our night exceptional. Started with an IPA, a Strawberry Ginger Mojito and Crab cakes(freakin amazing). Dinner my hubby ordered the Cluck and Oink with Cajun Fries. He said that piece of... More

We have been here multiple times and enjoyed eat time! From the fried green tomatoes and okra to the spicy jambalaya - excellent. Good bar and underground parking less than a block away. Interesting decor and wonderful staff!! Friends and family have had chicken and waffles, fish tacos to chicken sandwich, steak and dessert!! I'm ready to go back!

I've stopped in here a couple times over the years and came back again recently. I love the decor of the place and the general vibe. It really does feel like it would be more at home in the French Quarter than in Palo Alto. Even if you aren't looking for that particular feel it is a fun and different... More

First the good news. The Crabamole, just what it sounds like guacamole with Dungeness crab, was fresh and terrific. Check it out. The bar area design does a good job of capturing the mood of New Orleans and is a a great place for drinks. In fact, the entire restaurant reminds me of some of the really interesting backstreet bistros... More
