Consistently good food, reasonable prices, service always pleasant - Not any other true "fish" restaurants around any more.

The food was so good, we ate here two nights in a row - something we never do. Mesquite grilled fish of all kinds, fresh and amazing, and an elaborate menu. Friendly service, too.

This place has very fresh fish and a great selection to choose from. Highly recommend it. It’s a busy place and noisy so don’t expect a quiet meal.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The open kitchen is a good choice. Fast and nice service. But the skin of the trout I ordered was totally black. And I don 't like eating carbon. Local appetite?

Although this restaurant got good reviews, it did not meet our expectations. Just average food and it was very noisy. Must note that this was more than a year ago.

I've visited The Fish Market restaurants in San Mateo, Santa Clara and Palo Alto for years. The food is always good and, very importantly, consistent from visit to visit, location to location. I almost always choose one of the fresh grilled options, but the menu...More

This place has one of the largest selections of fresh seafood that you'll find anywhere. You can also take it home from their deli counter to prepare yourself! Amazing!

I like the food here, but there is one waiter here who will tell you that they are out of Louis dressing when you order a shrimp Louis and you get balsamic dressing instead. Then, you see someone else get a shrimp Louis with the...More

Our first restaurant has been a Palo Alto institution since its doors opened in 1976. With the brand new addition of an oyster bar, cocktail bar and lounge area, there are now even more ways to experience this unique restaurant. The expansive retail market remains a popular stop for local residents seeking to take home the finest in fresh fish.
