On a warm sunny day, it is very nice to enjoy brunch at the outside tables, but the interior is very pleasant as well. The menu is creative with some unusual combinations. The service is prompt and friendly. The food is excellent.

This chain restaurant remains one of our favorites given their creative menu, excellent service and terrific food. We had a wonderful breakfast with eggs cooked and paired well with a variety of vegetables and meats. The mushrooms, bacon and veggies were excellent.
The folks working there could be kinder and less aloof. The food makes up for it, we also brought home their coffee and preserves. We went several times during our stay in Pasadena.
Great coffee (strong) and bread. Croissant was very white bread, not buttery. Eggs and frittata were excellent, but came with mesclun, which is weird for breakfast.
Ordered the goats cheese and mushroom omelette and a pot of coffee. Coffee arrived first with the vessel for drinking it from resembling a bowl. This would be fine is bowl was not cold but purely based on the surface area exposed coffee was tepid...More
Don't expect to get there at 8pm and find it open, because they close at 7!!! Are you kidding? People eat in Old Pasadena, then go looking for desert and coffee. We end up in Urth Cafe down the street.
