While in Pasadena , we happened upon Green Street Restaurant. I made reservations online as there was 6 of us , for brunch . The Restaurant was easy to find . The public parking structure is literally right next door . Upon our arrival they...More

Service was fine. Coffee was fine. Free 90 minute parking nearby (though on Sunday it's free anyway). We got the Southwest Benedict, and Quinoa & Eggs. Both were slightly on the greasy, saucy side. Both had overly runny eggs. More importantly, they just didn't taste...More

This is a very nice restaurant; looks a bit on the high end but prices were reasonable. Our waiter was very attentive to us and checked on us frequently. I ordered the multi-grain pancakes and they were good, my grandson had the French toast and...More

If you look at my reviews, there is a theme when it comes to breakfast or fish tacos...they're my go to item. Green Street's breakfast tacos were very good. Lots of avocado and they didn't skimp on the eggs. Their salsa is amazing and don't...More

Not the same, it’s gone down since its heyday. but the staple Diane Salad is still on the menu which is the main reason to go.

Large choice of delicious salads, but even the luncheon size is much too large for the average person. If there for lunch, take home 1/2 for dinner. The menu is large and varied, but we go for the salads.

Green Street has been here for many years. We Pasadenans regret the closing of so many excellent restaurants (Monty’s, The Chronicle, The Green Lake, The Honker, The Stuft Shirt and many others). This place has a tremendous variety of healthy and comfort foods. You can’t...More

I took my sister to this restaurant for lunch, and we both enjoyed our meal tremendously! The food (we each had a salad--their Dianne Salad is sold at TJ's under the name "Pasadena Salad" and is one of my all-time favorites!), and the service was...More

Pleasant interior and large patio for all those beautiful, sunny So. Cal. days. A reliable and rewarding experience in Pasadena for decades. I'm amazed that no one has yet topped their Diane Salad with perfect zuchini bread side. All their food is expertly prepared and...More

My rating is really between a 3 and a 4. This is a nice but not upscale place...it feels more like a breakfast/lunch place than a dinner place. There is a bar with a couple of TVs, etc. The location, on Shopper's Lane, is a...More

It is a great restaurant for kids. And I think everyone, young and old, loves their famous Diane salad.

Green Street Restaurant is where Pasadenans go to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner and it's been a Pasadena tradition since 1979. It is centrally located just off South Lake Avenue and is within walking distance of hotels, the convention center, the Pasadena Playhouse and popular shopping areas. Green Street has an eclectic menu featuring savory salads (the ever popular and addicting Dianne Salad is ordered over 2,000 times per week), tasty meats, fresh fish and creative sandwiches served on wonderful breads. Guests enjoy a full bar and interesting wines by the glass on a beautiful patio or in the airy interior. Take-out and full catering services are also available.
