All good on the beer front it appears, with typical beer bar food. Food is marginal value, tourist oriented

The food is heavy, but they do their best to build the Firestone beers into the recipes. The setting is boisterous and appears to be popular with local residents as well as wine tourists.

Went to the Tap Room on a Sunday evening just to get away from the Debates being shown on the TV. Thank God they were showing sports when we arrived. Nice vibe it was not crowded as I have heard it gets. Quiet and you could hold a conversation at the bar. Excellent choices on tap. Bar Staff were knowledgeable... More

Paso Robles, is smack-dab in the middle of Dodger country and Giant country. When sports fans plan their tasting day up there...they like to follow the mantra of "grape before grain". Where better than the Taproom for some awesome firestone selections....hell, even the wineries were recommending it. At minimum, we expected that during THE PLAYOFFS OF MLB, that we might... More

Stopped for lunch wanting to sample some of the brews. We were seated and waited upon quickly. Ordered our drinks and food. I enjoyed my beer but by the time my meal arrived I was ready for a second beer to go with my food. I let the server know and she said she would be right back with my... More

We stopped in for some beer and apps. Turns out they took a couple of our favorite things off of the menu, Onion Rings being the main thing removed. They were some of the best ever. They also removed a favorite from the dinner menu, pork chops. The brewery was recently bought by a much bigger company. I'm sure they... More

My boyfriend is a beer enthusiast, so naturally we had to go here a few hundred times but what keeps me coming back with him [besides the 501 beer] is the food! The Chef knows how to cook; so far, nothing we've eaten has been less than 5 stars. Highly recommend this place.

We went for a late lunch, and of course a couple of beers. I had the 805 Pizza and my husband had the DBA Bratwurst Sandwich (which came with a ton of fries!). We also enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer. Our choice of beer was Luponic Distortion-went great with our lunch and we were over the top stuffed... More

We stopped in to buy beer and were impressed by the cold room, but also by all the company souvenir items on sale. The young man at the counter was very informative about all company's products, so it was an interesting half-hour.

Having seen the brands 'Firestone Walker' and '805' on our previous trips through Paso Robles, I thought it was merely a micro-brewery but my wife had talked to a friend who recommended the food at The Taproom, which is located adjacent to the brewery. The decor of the restaurant is modern industrial and is laid out so that you can... More
