Great atmosphere, fun, sweet people chatting about the surf and local events, great, ethically minded products and super tasty sandwiches and coffee. Highly recommended, especially the "Tree Hugger"- delicious! Go with friends and enjoy the ambiance and maybe buy some fun souvenirs or read through their big stack of Surfer magazines. Been here many many times since it has been... More

Don't let the surfing gear and rustic appearance fool you! Great coffee and food. The people behind the counter are always patient and helpful and friendly. The owners are amazing and their little girl often greets the guests. Take your coffee and goodies outside and watch the surfers or the fishermen on the pier. It would be sad to travel... More

Point Arena has a working pier - and a beach. After facing a blustery morning we needed warming up - and Cove Coffee is the obvious place. The young couple that own/run the cafe are really friendly - and clearly that's what attracts the locals. If a coffee and a sandwich aren't enough - there's surf/fishing kit as well.

Great sandwiches and great service. Our sandwiches were large, on fresh bread and reasonably priced. A funky little place that has charm and good food.

Good coffee, great opportunity to mingle with the locals, see the fishing boats in the harbor and just enjoy the area. Many choices for sandwiches, not many pastries. Surf and fish gear available too.

Great Black Board of Coffee choices, I ordered the Obama. They also have non-dairy options. Surf theme and cool Tshirts. Hava Java and watch the surfers and snorkerlers head out to the ocean from the Pier. Fun.

This is a cosy little place with friendly service and good espresso coffee. Only went for the coffee so can't comment on the food, but we really liked the atmosphere. I would certainly look it up if I was in the area again.

While staying at the Coast Guard House, my sister and I stopped her for breakfast one morning before heading to the B Bryan Preserve. Part coffee shop, part bait and tackle shop, Cove Coffee definitely lets you experience some local flavor. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were fresh and tasty -- be sure to let them know if you are... More

We've stopped here several times over the years and are never disappointed. Good Americano coffee and the blt on sourdough is fantastic. It is a surf shop and they sell bait but that is what Point Arena is all about. Laid back and friendly.
