We had the chinese food for 2 which was average. We didn't go back although we did see the place packed a couple of times when driving by so maybe it was our choice of food. It's very convenient to the Travel lodge if you are staying there.

This place opens at 7am, which is convenient. The prices were a tiny bit high, but it was a good amount of food. It took them a while to cook our food, so I figured maybe there was only 1 person working. The waffle was good, the bacon was a little over-done, the toast was good, the eggs were good... More

The Chinese food had no taste whatsoever, even after soaking in soy sauce. We couldn't tell if the chow mein noodles were supposed to be soft or crunchy. Chicken noodle soup tasted like Campbell's. i brought leftovers home to my husband who took a few bites, then threw it away. He said it wasn't worth the calories. We will never... More

We have been coming up to Redding at least once a yr in the past few yrs. This time we wanted to try out Lim's. I'm not necessarily a fan of fast food chinese--but I don't have anything against new chinese either. There is nothing like good ole diner type chinese--reminiscent of the 60s and 70s Chinatown eateries. This is... More

This restaurant apparently is an institution in Redding, it is run by the same family in the third generation. I must say we found the food bland and uninspired, and the decor is faded and boring.

The servings are huge, at least the dinner for 2 that we ordered. Unless you have a ravenous hunger, I would order a regular meal and split it if you are a couple. Moderate price. I would eat there again

I ate there once and will never go back again. I saw roaches climbing on the wall. The staff can hardly speak English. Very dirty place, when I was there.

I had some sort of noodle, shrimp, peas, eggs, rice mixed together topped with sauce..Awful flavor...Tasted slimy...Some of the noodles were crunchy...After 5 forkfulls I could not eat the mash...Waitress seemed tired doing the routine when she asked what I did not like about the meal...Place needs some remodeling as well...Looked above our booth and there were ceiling tiles missing...also they need some college... We travel through Redding about every six weeks and finding a meal with real vegetables is always a priority. The Chinese American menu gave us just what we wanted, tender beef, flavorful chicken with crisp vegetables in two different brown sauces, all very good. Our waitress was a delight and she told use we needed to come back for breakfast.... More
