this joint is a indian one, run by people from andhra pradesh, india. we took a takeout after ordering our food through phone while travel on the highway to dublin. the food was tolerable. the south indian thali covered general items of such thali and nothing special.the dosa was sour tasted. wada was ok. overall it is a so so.

My bar for standards on serve-yourself buffet food are lowered, however, Priya (Redding) is a bad example for Indian food. Curry was flat and flavorless, and food generally bland. Clearly leftovers recycled infinitely from previous day's services. One dish becomes the next day's reincarnation as another dish. Gross! Interestingly, Priya in Chico is much better. I can only assume they... More

On this particular Saturday night (08-13-16) the only option at this restaurant was the dinner buffet. The staff was polite, efficiently cleared our plates, and refilled our water glasses. There were a variety of dishes, including tandoori chicken drumsticks, goat stew, chicken curry, paneer cheese and spinach, okra stew, and other various vegetable curries. Side dishes included white and lemon... More

Every time we travel we seek out Indian, our brief time in Redding was no exception. We went for dinner and discovered there was a buffet. While I'm not always a fan of buffets, it was stellar. Food had a good spice kick, which we like. Nice options, many gluten free. Come hungry!

My daughter and I went to dinner here, we wanted to try something new. I have had Indian food before, but not very often so I am not very familiar with it. She has had minimal exposure to it (only when I've done a masala simmer). We both ejoyed our dinners immensely. Good flavors and many of them! I suggest... More

I read the reviews and trusted the Trip Advisor rating. Thank goodness I did. I'm in town on business and wanted to find a great restaurant. If you can get past the small language bartier, I highly doubt you would be disappointed with the food. I like my food spicy and the waiter (who I can only assume is also... More

I expected much better from this place based on past reviews. Sadly, it was one of the worst lunch buffets I have had. Maybe it was because I was there late, but I dont think so. The dishes all tasted similiar and the only one worth mentioning was the butter chicken. The choices were also very limited. I think there... More

Me and my family are big fans of Indian cuisine. We had the lunch buffet. It's a good selection of dishes and chutneys. Lots of vegetarian options. There's fresh fruit and desert as well. The food wasn't what we hoped for though; I only enjoyed eating a few of the dishes -they didn't.. And the salad was dry and not... More

I always like to go for the buffet, excellent choices. Healthy food, great flavors! Staff is very congenial and pleasant. Restaurant is clean. I have never had a bad meal here. Also good to order off the menu if you have several people ordering so you can share the variety.

First timers, but won't be last timers. Wife and I went for dinner. Seated quickly, servers were quick to respond with water and my blended drink. They have buffet and a la caret fare. We chose the buffet. Great items to chose, vegetarian and meat both. The curried lamb and spicy chicken were very good. Buffet maintained its temp. We... More
