Very interesting, non-typical Mexican Food. Would say more of a Mexican fusion of dishes. Everything I have had there has been excellent. Great selection of Tequila too!

The BEST southwestern food in the South Bay. Great service, plenty of parking and THE BEST taco Tuesday! Great happy hour as well.

The wife had the sweet corn ravioli as usual and I had the crab & shrimp enchiladas. Coyote Cantina never disappoints!

The cantina is on a rooftop in historic old Santa Fe. The food is adapted Mexican, marrying combinations of flavors into excellent meals. Starting with an appetizer of chips and three salsas ( excellent) we moved on to fish tacos and pork tacos. Both were very different from standard Mexican tacos but both were outstanding. A lot of food. In... More

Ordered a "House" Margarita... Terrible... too sour, had them remake it, which was better, but not good. Ordered the Chicken Machaca Tostada salad. The chicken lacked flavor and was dry. We were wondering if there is new management since our food and drinks have always been good in the past. Disappointing.

Have always liked the variety of the menu and the quality of the food. This time however the food was not up to their previous level. The meat in the chili Colorado was very dry and did not have much flavor. Same thing with the Mexican lasagna. It was dry and not very tasty. The service was very good and... More

Dinner with friends who took us here on recent trip to the South Bay. We really enjoy Mexican food, this place has a unique menu. Had the blackened chicken enchiladas. Tasty, fresh.

The place is relatively small, and always busy. It has a lot of regulars, and many people eating there know each other and the staff. The food is very good. It has many non-traditional dishes, so be prepared to have some excellent food that you probably have never had before. Highly recommended

This is a great Mexican restaurant in the southbay. Service is always great, super tasty cocktails, and yummy food! I am obsessed with their queso starter. Where I grew up, creamy cheesy queso was standard at all Mexican restaurants, not that weird chorizo stuff that so many SoCal restaurants serve where the cheese is hard after like 1 minute. This... The decor and wait staff were great. The chips were nice and hot but the salsa is just a thin sauce, but it has a nice flavor. I ordered chili verde in a burrito and it was just okay. The sauce was not authentic and tasted like something I could get in a can at Ralph's. My friend ordered enchiladas,... More
