The place is in a small corner strip and is hard to miss. The inside is quaint but nothing special. The best part of this place is that the menu is pretty diverse and the price is right. You can get a whole meal even for a bigger person for 7-8 dollars drinking water. The wait time wasn't bad although... More

Menu is extensive. Well priced food. Large portions of lean chicken katsu served with rice and salad. I recommend this as it was 2 large nice chicken breasts but I do not recommend the pork katsu as it was filled with fat and was thin cutlets. The salmon don was a good portion of salmon sashimi and sushi rice. The... More

This is one of my favorite lunch places. You can get a combo meal with two or three items with a soda for around $10. This is not gourmet food by any means, but it is tasty and generous. The people are friendly and it is a family run restaurant. I highly recommend trying them out (just not when I... More

Wonderful informal Japanese restaurant. Everything I've tried has been good, and great value. Always friendly service.

The Service: Order the food at the counter (2 cashiers). They will serve the food to your table (by calling your number on the receipt). The staffs are efficient taking orders, serving food and cleaning the tables. The Food: Good combo options & price. 2 items without drink... just a little bit over $6. Combo comes with white rice and... More

I love Rice Things. Good, fast Japanese cuisine at super reasonable prices. If you are really hungry, go for a 3 item combo which includes rice (I opt for brown at an additional charge) and salad. I also highly recommend the spicy chicken teriyaki or lean spicy if you prefer whit meat. Been going here for lunch for 10+ years... More

We stopped for lunch. We were three adults. The owner wanted us to cram into a table for two and insisted we do so. This place is very small and to be fair to accommodate more customers he feels he must do this. The food is nothing special and we just got up and left. Terrible.

I have to say that I have been eating here for over fifteen years so I think I am a fair judge here. You get a combo meal with two or three times and a soda for under ten bucks. The meal include rice and salad. While the food is not amazing, it is consistently good. The appearance of the... More
