Tokyo House was a nice find in our stop in Ridgecrest. Sushi and Benihana-style hibachi cooking at the table. Very tasty food with a great and friendly staff. Very good value for the meals and substantial fare for us who had been on the road for several days. The sushi was good, the grilled shrimp and rice really good. Miso... More

Lunch at Tokyo House was a winner! Black pepper chicken and teriyaki chicken on the grill was great. Sushi was well received by one of our group. Great lunch spot. Highly recommend.

Love the sushi here, but also the dinner menu. Plenty of food, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

We went the next evening after visiting Ohjah in Pahrump. They have nothing in common except both are of Japanese cuisine. While portions are bigger in Tokyo but they lack real Japanese flavour, we have a saying about this : food like soap. The guy who was preparing food for us really tried hard, show was good, but grill dissapointed.... More

I spent six years in Japan and I know I'm not there anymore. However, this was a terrible attempt at making Japanese food. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken (should have been chicken thighs)...more like cube cut pieces of really tough chicken breast with teriyaki sauce poured over the top. The miso soup was watered down…not enough miso paste. The vegetable... More

Just because Will Farrell (photo on the wall to prove it) has been (How? Why?) doesn't mean you need to the follow the funny guy. Ordinary on the outside and the inside. Pretty tired looking. No hint of Japanese Feng Shu. Lunchtime specials were pretty cheap - the chicken was from thigh rather than breast, so at least it tasted... More

Since there's not a lot of restaurants to choose from, we thought we should go here for dinner. Average food. Not a lot in the menu. The cook are awesome though. They show us little tricks while they are on the grill which amuses the diners around him.
