This was the worst dining experience of our lives. We arrived and were seated promptly, which was the only highlight of our evening. We started out by ordering the chilled seafood platter appetizer. For our main entree we ordered a NY strip to share, a...More

We went to Paul Martin’s because we wanted a different special place from our normal special places to celebrate our Anniversary. We weren’t disappointed! While this is a fairly large venue, the decor makes it feel warm and inviting. The service was great - our...More

We came here for lunch. I had the shrimp and butter lettuce salad. It was very tasty, but pricey, $20. It was nice to try this place once, but for the value I'll go somewhere else.

Had old fashioned cocktail, butcher's block, calamari with the 10oz center cut filet mignon medium rare, chocolate cake, and café latte. Very good, as usual. Never been disappointed, aside from the loud annoying people getting drunk at the bar. If you don't mind spending $125...More

I would assume so. Most good restaurants do. Your sister should like this restaurant. It's very good - and approachable too.

Description
The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.
