Living in Southern California I have the advantage of getting the best Mexican food outside of Mexico. So here I am in the San Bernardino mountains hungry after a long drive and ready to eat the first thing in front of me. My husband and I stopped in Running Springs on our way to Big Bear. The coffee shop looks... More

The food was okay, not great , not bad , just okay. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Coffee was like warm brown water.

While driving along the Rim of the World Hwy/Hilltop Drive, it was lunch time as we were entering Running Springs. After hitting a couple of thrift stores, we saw the Old Country Coffee Shop. This is an old-school, greasy-spoon coffee shop. Does not look like much on the inside, and it does not hold too many people. But it is... More

Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food.. had the Mexican burger and chili fries... the burgers are handmade and one of the best I've had in a long time... chili fries had a great flavor due to the delicious chili.. food was very reasonably priced...

Nothing fancy or gourmet...just real short order cooking, but good. Not a very big place so it gets crowded very easily during snow season and holidays.

Greasy, disgusting and the service is lousy. Good luck getting a seat when it's busy. This place is horrible and you'll notice none of the locals are in there.

I, my family and friends, plus my business has used this restaurant for 30 years. If it was not excellent we would not be using it nearly daily for my business.

Conveniently located in town. Parking like any where else is limited. Coffee and cheese cake yummy. It's like having our own Denny's up here. Food is good burgers and fries Pancakes you name it they gave it.

We love the Old Country Coffee Shop. When we lived in the mountains, we were regulars there. We especially liked breakfast, but everything was great. They keep the coffee cup full, and meals are generous. Servers are outstanding.
