I have been here a handful of times, and am always so impressed! The sandwiches are huge, and delicious. The bread itself is to die for, soft, chewy, exactly what you want from your fresh bread! I had a veggie sandwich today that has dill sauce and I literally would not have changed anything about it. Wish I lived next... More

We used to by bread here ten years ago when we worked in the area. Back in town for the day we stopped by. The bread was as good as always. Kind of missed the place

Excellent lunch spot in bustling Midtown! Interesting sandwich combos...fresh baked bread & a cool laid back atmosphere makes this place a hit. Food is just plain good!

Love the fresh baked bread and great flavor! Saw a Lamborghini Aventador too! I had a turkey on sourdough, and it was super super good.

If it wasn't for Groupon, we would never have found this gem in the heart of Sacramento. We go to the antique street fair on the 2nd Sunday of each month. After we walked through the antique fair, we drove over to the Bread Store, which was about 2 miles away. The sandwiches are AMAZING - mainly due to the... More

The bread at the Bread Store is so tasty, and it means they have a great foundation for GREAT sandwiches! Their menu has great options, or you can have them custom-make a sandwich to your tastes. I wish there was a Bread Store closer to my house so I could just walk to get fresh bread from there daily. Luckily,... More

I had the best chocolate chip muffin ever!! I had to be in Sacramento for a sporting tournament for my son, and just walking down J street, stumbled upon the Bread Store. I ordered the breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, cheese on sourdough, it was wonderful. I went back for lunch and the turkey was just as good, if I'm ever... More

Not sure why I've never reviewed them before, maybe because I just assumed everyone knew the wonderfulness of this place. Anyway, here goes. I recently went with some friends for lunch, and as always we loved our food. Between the four of us, we had the veggie sandwich, the reuben sandwich, tuna sandwich, and a grilled cheese that was on... More

I've never had a bad meal from The Bread Store, and I've been going there for at least a decade. Tthe bread itself is amazing; I frequently shipped loaves of asiago bread to Colorado when my sister lived there! Sandwiches are generously sized and are prepared carefully to order with fresh ingredients. One sandwich is enough for two small meals... More
