This place is a little "hole in the wall" that I happened to see when driving by. I asked family about it whom with we were staying with and they said it was a good place. So glad we went! Very good breakfast with excellent service. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. They DO NOT... More

Get here before they close about 2:30 in the afternoon for great breakfasts and lunch. Start with their Mexican Hot Chocolate and enjoy very tasty breakfasts and lunches. Nice family has welcomed folks here for years in this East Sacramento neighborhood. Outside dining is available and just remember to bring cash - no credit cards accepted.

The food is very good... And the owners, Rose & Dave, are awesome. Been going there for many years.. Breakfast or lunch are all delicious ... It's small but big on flavor..

I can't believe we have lived in East Sac for over 10 years and we have never eaten here before! Stopped by for a late breakfast and shared their breakfast burrito...yum, yum. Good selection of south of the border items including american breakfast items ie, eggs, bacon and even pancakes. Good indoor seating area as well as some outdoor tables.... More

With a couple hours between appointments and a gazillion chain options in the area, I found myself at a friend's suggestion. A number of years back we had an incredible breakfast there. The burrito, salsas, and fixins' did not disappoint! From the the tomato to the jicama, to the spice it was fresh and delicious. It's an incredible folksy small... More

I have been coming here for over 20 years! Hands down the best southwest breakfast and lunch in Sac! Don't forget to bring cash...no credit/debit cards accepted. Try the huevos rancheros!

I normally order the Cactus Special-- red sauce only as you can't get it anywhere else. I often take part of it home as its a good sized portion for me. But every once in a while-- their French toast ( walnut bread) is perfect thing. Not too sweet & the bread has so much flavor. Pancakes are lovely &... More

Rose and David run a great little southwest style breakfast and lunch place. Reminds me of a place in Las Cruces, NM. Very local, friendly, family run, casual place with great food. I have the beef burrito with half red and half green sauce because they are both so good! Huevos rancheros for breakfast is awesome!

Consistently great breakfast and lunch food. We know of many people, not from the neighborhood that will make the special trip to come here. Over the years we have tried every dish and were always satisfied, feeling good and content when leaving.

The menu is varied and anyone can find something to suite their tastes. Very small location so sometimes a wait is required.Tight parking.
