We looked this place up on trip advisor, and when we arrived, were surprised at the original look of the interior, really interesting and unique. The chef owner, made us feel at home and really looked after us. The food was amazing, i went with the daily special mole chicken and polenta with beans.. fantastic! My wife had the black... More

Deamer does such a great job everytime we visit. We love the Pajaro Street Grill, whether it's his dinner specials, or fabulous cocktails, this is a real gem in Salinas. It's also perfect for large groups (parties, birthdays, etc). The service is always an A+.

The dishes here are very creative and flavorful. Their weekly specials are original, creative, flavorful, and unique. Where else can you get venison, boar stew, rabbit, and other game? Highly recommended.

Thank goodness I read some of the reviews or I may have skipped this place and missed out on a spectacular dinner. I was going to go into what we ordered etc, but words will not be able to describe a dinner at Pajaro so, instead I implore you to go and experience for yourself.

Attended the monthly belly dance showcase and fundraiser - had a great cobb salad with succulent chicken, a glass of wine, and a TON of FUN!

Dining here is an experience - the owner is an eccentric artist and author, and also a talented chef. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is...different. You have to experience it when visiting Salinas - they have live music every Friday night and the locals come for a drink and dancing. It's a fun spot off the beaten path,... More

We parked downtown on a Friday early evening and walked over. The Grill is tucked into an unlikely spot, but easy to find. The place seemed a bit stuffy when we first walked in. We were tempted to sit outside with the patio protected by a stucco and glass partition to muffle the traffic. But, the low sun angle sent... More

Food is good if a little overpriced. Best bet is the burgers although the owner does have some other lesser found treats on the menu. Has tried to sell the place a couple times. Location is off the beaten path but evening diners can park in the underground lot. Ask about the artwork. Limited menu -suggest you call ahead or... More

Pajaro Street Grill has a wonderful feeling, and great food. The open mic nights are a treasure. Call ahead and reserve if you are going to bring a large group, though, or your meal may take a while.

We had a group dinner and ordered from the 4-course pre-set menu. Wow! The food was first-rate and everyone loved their meal. (don't miss the bread pudding). A nice bluegrass band was playing that night, which added to the festivity. Thanks Deamer & Ernie! We really appreciated your service.
