The remodel gave this place the facelift it needed. The food is still insistently good but when the owner is not in the house the service is slow. It took us 45 minutes to get our lunch specials today and the place was only 1/3 full. Then our male waiter left the restaurant and did not say a word to... More

There's two Thai food locations in Salinas that I'm aware of, and I hadn't tried this one yet so today I decided to go since it was my day off... Even though I love that other (Ginger Thai) restaurant, I'm all about trying to different places in my hometown when I have a chance. When we first walked in the... More

When you think of Salinas that last thing that comes to mind is Thai food. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful little place tucked in old Town. I was greeted with a smile by Noah as I walked in the door, told I could sit where ever I was comfortable and immediately handed a menu and asked what... More

The place really seems to have gone downhill over the years. The last time I went, the service was slow, the food was greasy, and the restaurant smells like they've haven't cleaned it in a long time. Not going back.

They've remodeled and the updated restaurant is wonderful to enjoy. The hospitality has always been warm and friendly! Nancy is sure to greet you and ask how you've been. The food is hot, fresh, delicious! Freddy has worked hard on updating the menu too. Not to worry, classic favorites like the Thai House Shrimp & Chicken (one of my faves)... More

Taste of Thai has always been one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. The owner is great! She always makes sure that we get the bset service and recommends a special dish for us. If you're not sure what to order, she will suggest a great menu for you. The service is always very good. This place is more... More

We had sake, avocado salad, and house special seafood dish here. It was a bit spicy for me but I am not into real spicy food. My friend thought it needed more spice and asked for their spicy sauce on the side because he is into hot Mexican foods, their hot sauce was so hot that he started perspiring. It... More

Order included Vegetarian Delight, Tom Yum Gooney and the recommended special chicken with ginger, garlic and vegetables & an $8 bowl of rice. The chicken did not have distinctive flavors (3 of us tried it), more like a chinese dish, & I asked to have it flavored up. The owner returned to the table explaining that she always tastes her... This is the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. In fact, it is more Chinese than Thai. I am surprised it has stayed in business this long. Also, my order took about 1/2 hour to be prepared. I had Pad Thai noodles that were tasteless
