They were out of the food I wanted to order (the Hungarian goulash), so I ordered the pork normandy (I am not sure if that's the correct name), and it was delicious - both the pork with apples and the real mashed potatoes! The place isn't fancy but that's OK. The prices were fine. We didn't realize that you pick... More

Food was very good and came out quickly for the most part. One dish took a little longer so they gave us free dessert. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Not sure why the TA community feels this would be a good place to eat. One good reason? Ambience 0, Food -10, Service OK. The bread that people raved about was soft and without any texture. The food, was colorless, flavorless and under cooked. I had ordered Ratatouille, with high hopes and asked them specifically to cook it extra since... More

I wanted Mediterranean and looked in my trusted T. A. app. and decided to give Bistro Tupaz a try based on their most recent reviews. I called ahead because we had a special situation and the guy on the phone was very friendly and said, "come on in, no problem." Their menu is eclectic but our party of 4 foodies... More

I can't believe I've lived here for three years and just found this place yesterday! Walking in I loved the decor, it's intimate and simple. I love the chalkboards that hang down it's a very nice touch. They have plenty of dining but of course it's the food that makes this five stars. It's not a huge menu which I... More

We ate here recently after not having been here for a long time. They have a new chef. The fish and chips were wonderful - much better than London, or Seattle, or other places supposedly famous for fish and chips. The short ribs were meltingly tender. We will start coming more often again.

We finished a hike nearby and wanted a place for a quick bike. The Bistro has a very interesting menu, stews, pastas and such alongside burgers and fish and chips. We had the fish and chips (slightly underseasoned but crispy and good) and the avocado mousse with grilled shrimp - very tasty!!! They had lovely little baked goods - all... More

Maybe the chef had the day off. Maybe the spice rack was lost. Maybe I just picked the wrong items. I had vegetarian pot pie and a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. The former was anything but a pot pie. There was no crust; it was a large bowl of vegetable gruel with a remarkably bland flavor. I salted. I... More

From the outside it looks like any other store front restaurant. It's almost as if you are transported to France when you enter. The tables are simple but the food is the best in the top 5 in the San Francisco Bay area. Everything is fresh. The pasta is home made and you can readily distinguish it by color and... More

If you live in the South bay you should give that place a try. Tuesdays your dinner comes with free glass of wine. They have boards & card games (backgammon board, cribbage board...)so you & your family can play while waiting for food. Food range from Italy dishes and Hungarian (Goulash?) Their bread comes with 3 types of yummy spread...... More
