A classic unpretentious different style lunch by some hard working folks. There's a reason they've been around as long as they have. Don't spend much time in this part of time but if I am and I'm kinda hungry, I'm in line.

I have been coming to this place since I was a kid. I have never tasted anything so good then a falafel from here. Always great quality and a great value. They have awesome banana shakes here as well. Yes most is vegetarian fare but also serve great chicken and burgers. You can never go wrong with this place.

I was reading so many positive reviews about this place, and decide to try. Food is average: I hade falafel plate my husband giros plate. Cheep salad was base for both dishes, mine had falafels and his giros meat. I do not like to write negative comments, but this experience deserve one. My husband ( who never check bills )... More

This place is quite good. My husband likes the Falafel sandwich. I normally get my falafels separately. The Babaganough is great. I also like the banana milkshakes. Normally a long line and closes fairly early but fairly inexpensive and very yummy.

Walk-up & order through the window, wait and voila, a light yet filling meal consisting of my favs which are a large falafel, banana shake, and a fried burrito. This combo is always a hit. The seating is primarily outside in an area with long tables surrounded by murals of San Jose's evolution, and a tribute to the Bay Area... More

These guys have been working hard at this for years - went there in high school, college, and after. Don't miss the falafel salad, too. I like this even better since it is huge, and doesn't include the pita bread. Hot sauce is really good, too.

This is a small family eatery close to Valley Fair Mall. Authentic and distinct Mediterranean flavors abound the family own business. I usually order the standard falafel combo with Banana Shake (note that the shake cannot be substituted with other drinks). Their version of hamburger with fries (thick cut and crispy) is also excellent and highly recommended. Falafel salad and... More

If you want fresh falafel, this place is just delicious. Parking can be annoying, but get over it, and go. You WILL go back again and again.

Only falafel I have had. No reason to go anywhere else. Usually order small with extra falafels. Banana shake real. Busy, but fast at lunch. Mostly covered outdoor dinning. Pita chips tasty. Other options. Spicy option good on falafel.

San Jose definitely doesn't meet the dining standards of San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego, and allowing this to reach the number one spot on Trip Advisor for restaurants in the area is a perfect example of why. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the place. The people are nice, the menu is diverse, and the experience is fun,... More
