Bad service, noisy and unappealing atmosphere and overly-priced food. We had high hopes coming here as we were hoping to find the place to host our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

We ate at La Foret 2/1. We used to go there every year for our anniversary and were glad to see that it had reopened. The visit was disappointing and I don’t know if we’ll be back. We arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation...More

Everyone was bummed when La Foret was closing but the new owner has kept things pretty much the same. Great food and ambiance. Loved their Rack of Lamb. Hurry back, you won't be disappointed.

We SO glad it reopened quickly! We dined at this special place before and was sadden when it closed. Once we found out the new owners, Maurice and Giuseppe, decided to take over to create and still carry on the classy tradition of food and...More
My better half took me there for my birthday and it was my first visit. The food and service were outstanding. The corkage fee at $35 was higher than most. The salad we split but should have ordered one each as quite small. My entree...More
I was excited with the prospect of celebrating my 51st birthday dinner with my family at the much touted and recently re-opened San Jose classic La Foret. We were one of the first parties seated with a 5:45PM reservation by a cheerful hostess who wished...More
