My favorite Japanese food restaurant... and I live 30 miles and 1 bridge away! Good, fast, courteous service. Delicious food. Have a fair-sized parking lot and plenty of street parking.

with really friendly service. They more unusual choices as they are traditionally done. One example is the Miruga, orange clam, sushi is made with a shisho leaf under the clam. Very crowded on a Friday night with neighborhood locals. Will definitely keep on my rotation in the San Leandro area.
They service here is always really great, and I love that they always give you complimentary edemamae and another deep fried snack. Their portions are generous, the seafood is good and fresh and the rolls are pretty big. They can accommodate bigger parties as well!
This was my first stop once landing in SF. This was my second time eating here as it's my cousin's favorite place. You are quickly seated once you walk in. The prices are very reasonable. My food was great. I ordered Redwood and I believe Spicy tuna makis. Everything tasted fresh and the service was good. I would definitely recommend... More
Visiting from Tucson and having eaten sushi all over the country (retired in motorhome,) we would rank this meal among the worst. Two Bento Boxes gave us a great selection. Tempura was underdone and not crisp; Spicy tuna roll was 5 three-bite pieces of just adequate quality, thinly cut but large-around and difficult to eat; Tuna sashimi was good. Gyoza... More
I went here on the recommendation of the hotel where I was staying. I ordered the seaweed salad and the crazy Monkey roll. I was also given miso soup and a bowl of edamame which I didn't expect. The seaweed salad was a very large bowl and quite fresh. The Crazy Monkey had large portions of fresh fish. Roll was... More
Location is not fancy but the ambience is nice and quiet. Fresh fish of good quality, very good for the price and amount served. Tested Sashimi and nigiri combo and great spicy Dragon rool.
For reasonable prices and plenty of food to eat especially with the bento boxes, this is the place to go. Everyone in our party had the bento boxes with two item combo and you also get two shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura in your bento box. One other person had the chirashi. The service is friendly and we were also... More
Located on Marina Drive, this is a restaurant that is a little hard to spot. However, finding it is well worth the effort. The food is very good, the portions are huge, and the ingredients seem to all be fresh - with small, unique touches to make the meal that much better. You'll find a wide variety of menu choices... I have a group who meets once a month and this is one of those places we have become fond of. The portions are generous for a Japanese restaurant and the staff is gracious. I eat sashimi as well as many other of their fine dishes. Their bento boxes are a favorite of several friends. It's a great local place... More
