We all ordered different entrees. Some were much better than others. Fish and Chips was probably the worst. Great waterfront location with nice views.More

Tried again after several years, was very pleased with the food and service. Prices are reasonable, most dinners come with two size.

I have eaten here a dozen times or more and always keep coming back. The restaurant is consistently good. We chose a fresh fish option something we almost always do. In this case, we both chose the sea bass that was mesquite grilled. It was...More

I had dinner with a friend there. The restaurant is located outside San Mateo on a channel from the Bay. There is plenty of parking lots outside, however they were nearly full on the Friday night. The place was crowded inside as well. Upon entering...More

Came to the Fish Market at 5pm. Restaurant was relatively empty. Took 15 minutes for our waitress to come by which should have been our first clue. Waited another 30 minutes for our food. Couple next to us got fed up and asked for their...More

Just wanted a quick lunch. Had soup & a louie salad. Great bread. Service was good. Lots of free parking. Better if you go not during peak hours.

Great fresh fish selection. Reasonable prices and a cute atmosphere. If I lived here this would be my go to.

Nestled alongside a quiet lagoon, our fourth restaurant, and the first to feature the upstairs, upscale Top of the Market, has been a dining destination for bay area residents since 1982. This beautiful restaurant also features a full-service cocktail bar and lounge area, and a popular oyster bar. Patio dining is available in the summer months.
