Had the fish tacos for lunch one day. Had the Wagyu sliders and a Ceasar for dinner the next. Both dishes were fresh and very tasty. Presentation is nice and different for the tacos - kind of a build your own on one giant plate.

The service was outstanding and very fast. The restaurant is located inside the marriot hotel in san mateo. The food was tasty and the prices were normal for california.

The Lunch/Diner is limited but fod quality is as would be expected from a Hotel Grill. Breakfast is average - nothing that would really get you excited, There are plenty of better alternatives close by.

They had a convention special, burger and fries for $8, which isn’t much more than the cost of a fast food equivalent. However, when I ordered it to be cooked medium, it was red in the middle. Two nights later, when I ordered it medium well, it was . . . you guessed it, red most of the way through.... More

The fish taco are very good and they come separated out in a build your own soft taco dish which is a nice presentation. The buffalo wings are pretty good as well. Full bar and decent wine menu. Service was good. Not a bad option if you are looking for a quick meal after getting to the hotel or for... More

Usual hotel food served hot , only the slow service let the experience down . 30 mins waiting for a cheese steak sandwich with coleslaw was very long.

5 stars for Nargis Samaryee, my server who made what is normally a hum-drum, business diner's experience into a delightful time. She was attentive, made suggestions, and most of all, asked about my travel, home, family, and the trip. Great relational skill, and I felt like a special guest, not just another diner. Changed the whole experience for me!

The food is decent - better than average for an airport hotel. I had the fish tacos and they came in a beautiful presentation with plenty of different condiments. The cocktails menu is very good, and the patio is a nice place to sit and get some fresh air. But wow, the service is terrible. Friendly, but soooo slow. Even... More

I came here for breakfast one morning while I was staying at the Marriott San Mateo. I like table service better, but the buffet they had was also good. The Buttermilk Pancakes were great (however, I was upset by the fact that they did not have lumberjack pancakes). Bacon is good (that's not the restaurant, that's me), and the guava... More
