We were in San Rafael and my husband wanted to yo yo this club mainly because it is owned by Phil Lesh. We arrived to find that there are 2 buildings - one side for concerts, which was sold out. The other side is a...More

Every time we have been here the service has been horrible. The food is good, the atmosphere is good the music can be too loud.

The menu offers something for everyone. It's huge. The outside patio is awesome and adjacent to an enclosed park-like area for children. The seasoned staff is great. They also offer live music.

Ate here a couple of times when in San Rafael. They have an unfussy menu that caters well for vegetarians. Food was pretty good and that and the drinks were not that expensive. They have live music here most evenings. Would recommend.

Our party included both vegetarians and meat eaters, and everyone at our table found something they liked on the menu. The ricotta and English pea ravioli was wreathed in tender pea-sprouts, and the banana torte was a stand-out dessert. The service, however, was beyond awful....More

The restaurant has been around for a while. We were there for a Sunday brunch reserved a spot outdoors. The outside seating is in the back of the restaurant which made it nice to be there rather in front where there would be traffic. Reservations...More

You can enjoy live music 7 nights a week even if you're not a '"dead head". Service and food are great. There's also a fun trivia night once a month. It's kid and dog friendly in their outdoor venue. What's not to love about Terrapin?

One never knows who will show up and perform here sometimes...great and interesting crowd, decent menu, and the music is always outstanding...care to dance? Go ahead, there's a little space in front of the stage....

No, for wine you bring in from the outside.

Thank you for your quick response! If we decide not to do dinner but just to come for the Monday night show is there usually a line to get in or a cover charge? What time do the shows begin on Monday? Thank you again for taking the time to answer my questions. I want to plan this all out and just get my husband into a cab and not tell him where we are going!

7:30 pm, but try to get there early to grab a seat at the bar. That's the best spot for a show. Usually no line and no cover.

We have reservations for dinner. Do we need separate tickets to see the show? We will be there on a Grateful Monday.
