2 kids. 2 adults. Great food and a great place to watch the game. The menu has great variety. Great service as well. We will be back.

They have a wide variety of bar food, and not-so-much bar food, which has all been great over the past 2+ years we have been going to watch NE lose football games. Great service, but can be packed.

We had lunch here on Wednesday Noon and most of the high tables were occupied in the front room. We checked the back room of regular tables which was unoccupied. Bartender handed us menus although the drink menu is attached to the center silverware/napkin carrier. One waitress handling the tables, she had to check the special burger of the day.... More

So, you know when you just really want good, solid, filling food but don't feel like paying too much or putting on your fancies? Head to The Flatiron and be amazed to eat the 2nd Street Mexican Salad with asada chicken. Or wolf down the blacked chicken sandwich. You really can't go wrong. Vegetarian? Keep the salad, skip the chicken.... More

My wife and I were off in search of relief from the fog and grey skies near our home, and ended up in sunny and warmer San Rafael. I had first heard about Flatiron on a local tv show, and had put it on my long list of restaurants to visit at some point. We arrived around noon, which is... More

Driven by this "sports bar" for years. never went in because "I Knew it was a dump" WRONG. Local TV food station did a small show and talked it up. We (4) went and were amazed. Yes it had TV's but the volume was turned off. The menu was extensive. Yes. Lot of ways to cook a burger.. But other... More

Kind of an easy bar to drink in. It seemed to be more of place to go just for drinks, at least on the 2 or 3 evenings over the past year or so when I've been there. Maybe it was just because I was there with several of my

I was pleasantly surprised at the really good burger they served us. It was a half pounder and their signature house burger. I used to be a regular here when Pat and his brother owned it years ago, but when there was a change of ownership and the great burgers were no so great any longer and they took spinach... More

MANY draft beers from which to choose! Many televisions for folks to view and cheer for their favorite teams. Great "pub" food and large portions. Attentive wait staff and talented bartenders make it like the "CHEERS" of San Rafael. (Except - everybody might not know your name...which is a good thing!)
