The staff were helpful, and the burger was good, not the best I ever had. Fries were hot, cooked right there and they were good enough to split our order in two baskets, as one burger is large enough for the two of us. Not fancy, with seating inside and outside.

We visited the Hearst Castle for my bday weekend. Since this place got good reviews, we decided to check it out. We had two kinds of cheeseburgers, rockfish sandwich, fries and onion rings. Kids had the chicken fingers. Burgers were bland. So whoever stated this was the best burger they have ever have is overrating this joint. Maybe it is... More

We happened upon Sebastian's Cafe when searching for Hearst Winery. Since it was lunch time, we decided to eat at Sebastian's. We were cautioned the burgers were huge so my wife and I split a burger. This burger has to be one of the best in the world. If you stop by this quaint little cafe, do yourself a favor... More

Went to see the Sea Lions about 10 miles north of San Simeon - amazing sight. Hundreds and hundreds of sea lions and their pups. Returning to Cambria we stopped at Sebastians- heard they serve a mean burger and boy do they. My wife and I shared the burger and an order of onion rings and we were very happy!... More

By far the best burger we have ever tried. Found this place on trip advisor when in California and decided to try it as it had amazing reviews. I have to say that it did not disappoint! The burgers were freshly prepared there and tested amazing, the fried were so delicious and it was very reasonably priced (in fact cheaper... More

Sebastian's Cafe is rustic with no frills - but it serves a great chile and pepper jack cheeseburger. My husband and I split the burger and were pleased that the kitchen served each half in its own basket. We also had an order of onion rings, which were very good. The Cafe is expensive ($13 for our burger - sides... More

Stopped here for some lunch after visiting the Hearst Castle. The menu has a lot of offerings but we went with the hamburger. The hamburger was huge ( one is enough for two people!) and was made from Hearst beef. Great stop for a meal!

Beautiful Stop here: we had the burgers here all grass fed beef from the Hearst Ranch, very nice setting for a nice afternoon lunch, nice variety to choose from for snacks & lunch.

People were very friendly. Food was just fine and reasonably priced. We had the hamburger and fries. There are bathrooms and free drinking water. Great views.

Great reviews brought us here after touring the Hearst Castle, but I wasn't convinced. We sat outside on a dirty table with many flies feeding with us. My fish and chips was excellent and the prices were good. It was a struggle to get some water and there's one not-so-nice bathroom with a line. There has to be better around... More
