Service with a smile. Incredibly prompt and friendly servers. Good lunch. Soup and salad special was awesome. Real deal New England chowder.

Each time we visit Santa Barbara we come to Brophy Bros for lunch. A fresh simple plate of fish and chips, along with a cold beer goes down very nicely, thank you very much! Service is always friendly and we always manage to "beat the...More

If you want almost unlimited choices of fresh seafood, then Brophy's is a good place to eat. There's a main dining room; the deck (overlooking the harbor); and the bar and each one is packed and frantic with activity and noise. We couldn't eat even...More

The fish stew is absolutely great, other grilled fishes were also fabulous. Baked clams were fab. Servers were also very nice but it was very loud inside. All seafood was very fresh and tasted great and it was a good restaurant. However, I prefer the...More

This place gets by on its location. It is on the Pier so view of the harbour is lovely. The food is good, have been there twice and never been wowed. The reason is won’t be back is simply the noise factor - have to...More

I must say that I like Trophy Brothers. It is a tiny restaurant/bar, upstairs (one has to hike the stairs, or else eat at a bar downstairs.) The swordfish was excellent but the clam chowder was the REAL star at this place (the BEST that...More

No reservations but you can put your name down and have a drink in the bar and they will grab you when the table is ready.

Description
We are a casual seafood house that is located right on the dock in the Santa Barbara Harbor. You’ll find a bustling scene of fisherman, young professionals and sand-sprinkled beach-goers nearly every night of the week at this true-blue waterfront institution. Dungeness crab cocktail, oysters on the half-shell and fried shrimp round out the “small” menu offerings. Fresh fish specials, such as grilled white sea bass from local waters, mahi mahi dusted in Cajun spices and pan-blackened local yellowtail, are highlights on the “long” menu. No matter what, libations are always in order at this locals’ favorite gathering place. Everyone is welcome at Brophy's, hope to see you soon.
