It's a sunny and warm day outside, and we enjoyed a fabulous brunch at The Shop. Ingredients are fresh and the Eastside, Tugboat, Frenchie and the fish tacos were all great. The patio seating is next to a mechanic, but we didn't mind.

The Shop provided the food for our son's recent wedding and it was outstanding in every respect. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

So delicious and rich and healthy. Simple setting outside, but charming. Eat with the locals, no tourists to find, since it is a block away from State Street.

The food is fancier than the setting at this yummy, neighborhood cafe. It was popular on a Sunday morning without being crowded, which indoor and outdoor seating and counter service. The portions were huge - we could have split items. I got the Rollex ($9), which was like an omelet crossed with a breakfast burrito. The eggs, chopped bacon, avocado... More

I come here each time I'm in SB for a quick breakfast. The food is local, organic and delicious! It is also served quick and the staff is always incredibly friendly. My only complaint is the coffee if you stay and eat is still served in a disposable cup, rather than a mug. But it's still delicious

My husband and I love to come here for breakfast when we're visiting our daughter in Santa Barbara, She used to live just off of Milpas and recommended The Shop highly. I had the oatmeal on my very first visit and have to say it's the only thing I've ordered on every other visit as well - it's that good!... More

Poor service and wrong order. But the food is pretty good. It's also pet friendly. Hard to find though.. there's no sign with the name of the place..

We travel with a small dog, so places that can accommodate our dog (usually a patio) are what we seek. After reading several good reviews, we decided to try The Patio. Aesthetically, The Patio does not stand out; it is basically a walk-up window to order and is a local favorite. The food, however, was very good; and the patio... More

I've heard good things about The Shop from friends and when listening to NPR, there was a story about the best chicken sandwich in Santa Barbara. Wanting a chicken sandwich today I decided to see for myself. When I arrived the line of people out the door was 40+ people. I took this a a good sign. After about a... More

Every time I visit my daughter in Santa Barbara we visit the Shop. What is amazing is that the restaurant never disappoints. The food is incredible and what is truly remarkable is that the presentation is what you would find in a five star restaurant. Don't let the outside of the building dissuade you, The Shop is the place to... More
