Do not miss this Restaurant! This was far and away the best Italian food I've ever had. The service was perfect, they had a great wine and beer list, and the food was fantastic!

We were in Santa Barbara for a short stay and went to Toma which was recommended by my brother and his wife. The setting and fresh food reminded us of a restaurant in Florence. Lively, attentive staff , and creative dishes. We will make the trip again just to go there!

While spending a week in Santa Barbara, three of us were eager to try out TA's no. 1 restaurant. We started with an expensive appetizer which turned out to be micro mini bites of squash blossoms. The waiter highly recommended it but it was a total waste of money in our opinion. We've had squash blooms in France often and... More

The food is good. The marrow was unusual, rather sophisticated and, overall, very successful and memorable. The rest of the dinner dishes was good. The service by the waiter was very attentive. The hostess was unprofessional, unwelcoming and is the reason for poor ranking and why we will never return to that place.

Excellent dinner and service. Sat at the bar since they were full with reservations but was taken well care of. Lasagna and the seafood ciopino were great. Excellent wine list as well.

A very nice dinner. Nice fresh dishes. Nice wines. Cozy atmosphere. Good service. Very crowded and a booking is recommendable. As is a visit.

VisitedToams for dinner again for my Wife's BDay---another great experience. Cullen provided excellent service, my Wife's seabass special, my scallops were great. The romaine salad, with cannellini beans my Wife had was superb as was my roasted beet salad. The chocolate cake for dessert, Super Tuscan wine were also exceptional. It is pricey if you do the full dinner gig... More

we ate here for our son's 9th birthday whilst holidaying in Santa Barbara. Great, fresh ingredients; wonderful service; tender steak and wonderful pasta. Great to have "proper" butter! Would certainly recommend for a good meal out

This is a charming italian restaurant that didn't disappoint. The portions were large and the food was well-prepared. We had very prompt, attentive service. The calamari appetizer was large and very fresh. I had the black spaghetti and thought it was delicious and unique. My husband had scallops and loved them. It is appropriately priced for the level of service... More

We booked reservations here weeks ago for the last dinner of our honeymoon. I was excited after reading reviews and looking forward to it. It was a very mediocre experience and nothing really stands out as great. Our table was incredibly wobbly and caused our somewhat warm martini to splash over. The gnocchi was gummy and over cooked, the risotto... More
