Dinner at The Palace is an experience. Yes, the food is delicious; no matter what anyone we take there orders, they love it. I've finally smartened up and asked to take the mini muffins they serve instead of bread home with me (assuming we leave any to take ;) Great drinks, fab desserts and a standout New Orleans meal in... The Palace has been around forever, and there's a good reason -- the food is consistently very good and the service is always top notch. Good choice for just about any occasion, lunch or dinner, whether you're out with family, with a group, or out on a first date, it's really hard to go wrong with the Palace.

It's loud. It's rambunctious. It's entertaining just being there. AND the food is delicious! Adult beverages are generous, and if the children are with you they'll enjoy it too because they don't have to use a 'quiet voice!' It's like a crazy party with great food. Sidewalk performers often help with the wait if you're not in line early.

Palace Grill is such a fun place to have dinner. The food is very good, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is fun. Definitely a unique experience that I would recommend. If you are not a huge seafood fan like me, don't let it keep you from trying. There are other options. My husband and I had one of... More

Love this place. I've lived in SB for 12 years and this is my favorite spot to go. Everything on the menu is good; especially the jambalaya. Great bread pudding for dessert too. On top of it all the atmosphere is like nothing else in SB.

I have been to the Palace a few times and have enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Having been to Louisiana for a long business trip and having enjoyed being introduced to etoufee I cannot wait to get to the Palace Grill to enjoy a bit of NOL. The atff make you feel at home and it's fun to... More

I was taken here by my bf and I have to admit the name "The Palace Grill" didn't really interest me. However, this place was nothing like I expected! We showed up around 7 on a Saturday and there were street musicians playing some fun music outside the door...where there was a line to get in! Because it was just... More

The service and friendliness of the waiters and staff were superb. The food was very good. We had crab cakes that were quite unlike any we had had before. They were a bit spicy but very tasty and good. Two people could easily share a meal. Atmosphere was friendly, food was good. Would go back if we lived nearby.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and decided to finally write a review. The food is authentic NO and everything that should be on the menu is from Gumbo to Jambalaya to Po Boys. And it's all good. The gumbo is loaded with either seafood or Andouille and makes for a great starter. The location is great, 1/4... More

This place has great reviews but they must be from dinners. I just had a hideous $32 stuffed fillet mignon for lunch there after our waiter recommended it. Really incredibly bad. I can't believe they would serve food like that. Last night's leftovers must have found their way into the microwave. I will never eat there again.
