This is a rather small place on the far end of State Street so is easy to miss, but there is plenty of parking in front. The interior is also not too impressive but is well filled with smiling diners. An encouraging sign in any eatery. There is a good menu with various interesting choices. Lynda and I decided on... The dining area was cramped and cold. We attempted to order Lasagna but were told it was unavailable. We choose two other options and one dish came out cold. I would expect this place to make their dishes from scratch but this made me wonder how a ravioli in Alfredo sauce could still be cold. The servings were small and... More

It's a clever idea, but prices are exorbitant. If you're unwilling to pay $6.50 for one mushy cannolli, then go around the parking lot to Renaud's where everything is freshly made.

This little restaurant is so welcoming and warm, decorated with family photos and favorite food containers of Italian delicacies. The spinach and ricotta cheese raviolis in lemon Alfredo sauce were unbelievably good, as was the cappachino.

It's like a little New York City restaurant tucked away in the anononimity of the San Roque commercial zone. Virtually every dish is outstanding, rely on your servers for guidance. Save room for the desserts, especially the imported gelato. Charming decor. It is small, but with everyone having such a good time the ambiance is wonderful.

Renato, from northwest Italy, recreates a bit of Italy here. Sure, there aren't multiple plates (antipasto, primo, secondo, etc.) like in REAL Italy but he really tries in other ways with authentic dishes like for New Year's....cotechino with lentils...something you won't find in many places in the USA. Excellent wine list with much more than the usual Super Tuscans. Desserts... More

You can't go wrong with anything at this place!!! It is all AMAZING!!!! They take such care with their ingredients and prep!! Don't let the fact that this place is in a strip mall throw you off....it is well worth the stop!!!

I shared it with a friend to be calory-conscious. i could easily have eaten the whole thing--and now i wish I had. Great gelato for dessert, too.

Definitely our favorite Italian restaurant. Renato's creations are consistently delicious and well priced. No reservations, so come early or prepare to wait!
