The Andersens is an experience for all your senses. The charming look and feel of a distant Danish restaurant will bring you in. The sights of the many delicious bakery items displayed will beckon to you. But the tasteful menu dishes will keep you there and insist you return to try every available specialty not found anywhere nearby. Like the... More

My daughters took me here for my birthday to enjoy their afternoon tea. While we have dined here for breakfast this was our first time to their tea. On the plus side, the tea was nice and hot and quite delicious. The food was, overall, very good. My complaints stem from the food being very difficult to eat. The "finger... More

The evening visit to Andersen's on State was such a treat. It was just before Christmas, and we got our hot beverage to go along with our treats. I forgot that we can go by anytime. It's just become a fun little treat for us to bundle up and walk over.

One of our favorite places for breakfast. The pastries are exceptional. Nice sidewalk section and the inside atmosphere is great and spotless. The service is very good and we have never had a plate that we didn't like. We will be back. They have specials that are unusual, like bread pudding made from croissants with delicious sauces.

We love it here! Buttering Marzipan is one of the best things I have ever tasted! The Chocolate Charlotte was to-die-for.

This was a wonderful setting for breakfast along State Street. The beautiful French country decor, attentive wait staff and incredible pastry make this a 'must do' for anyone in the area. I would highly recommend the croissant French toast; possibly the best form of this breakfast I've ever enjoyed.

Stopped in for a wonderful and hearty cheese and egg breakfast. Brie Havarti and eggs on a whole grain toast Yum! Purchased some chocolate covered marzipan treats for later . I'll be back.

We sat outside and it was crammed. We were staring at the baked goods through the window which could be considered a good view. The coffee was too strong. The country potato just ok. The salmon omelette a good breakfast choice to share. The bread pudding was also good.

We wanted a quick tasty dinner before a movie and were not disappointed! Terrific service- delicious duck dinner, good crab cake- the curry vegetable soup was a bit thick and creamy but tasty. No room for dessert but the pastries looked tempting.
