We celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday at Aqarius, the new modern restaurant attached to the Dream Inn in Santa Cruz. The restaurant is overlooking Cowells Beach in Santa Cruz next to the Boardwalk. It has a great view of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, sailboats and...More

While staying at the Dream Inn my dh and I ate twice in the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Is the manager the owner of a chicken farm?! The menu is eggs, eggs, and eggs! Build your own omelet (with sausage or bacon and potatoes sides),...More

The view in this restaurant is a fun look at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk; but that's about all there is to the dining experience. If you happen to have your back to the window, you're left with a weird and limited menu, understaffed waiters, and...More

We had both dinner and breakfast here and we enjoyed very good service and solid food! For dinner we had the salmon and the halibut; all very good.

Aquarius is a great addition to the Santa Cruz restaurant scene. We have eaten there a few times and the food has been consistently good. The lovely view is a bonus!

Nice location & modern decor. We appreciate the quality of the food and service. They offer fly of glass of wine from local producers (Napa & Monterey). A charming stop for travellers who do not want another joint-burger meal...

The food was acceptable. The appetizers were sub-par and the measliest portions possible! $10 for just TWO Sliders the size of small cupcakes. The "Chowda" was watery and two of the 6 clams (in their shells) were bad. $37 for a small steak, 4 shrimp,...More

My first night in Santa Cruz I ate at Aquarius. I had the Halibut special - just wonderful. Grilled Halibut serverd over shaved beets and asparagus, preceeded by the Aquarius Salad - field greens with cucumber and soy peanut dressing. Everything was absoulutely delicious. The...More

The STAR rating is difficult because the food did taste very good, unfortunantly there was only 5 bites of halibut and mashpotatoes ($26) on my very large plate (bowl). It was also apparent to me that they are trying to get 6 glasses, instead of...More
