The food is ok, but the service is pitiful. At weekends it is so busy with people trying to gain access to the rooftop bar.

We ate breakfast several mornings while staying at the Shangri-la. Their dining room is wonderfully retro and the food is excellent. The service is very attentive without being obtrusive: they go out of their way to ensure you have a good meal.
