Wonderfully creative and tasty vegetarian food. Very fresh produce. The pastry chef also is very clever and when we were there she had just made a wonderful slice using fresh rose petals.

Mathew Kenny's restaurant MAKE in Santa Monica was a great place for lunch before spending the day on the pier. We had the cheese plate, carrot soup, mushroom tacos, and vegetable lasagna. All the dishes were good, but my favorite was the mushroom tacos.

Down in LA visiting the raw food queen. She took me to a number of raw food places, but MAKE was by far the best of the bunch. Taste buds were very happy, even though they were asking where is the meat.

What an awesome experience; rivaled any other mainstream dining experience. The chef does amazing things with plant-based products! I highly recommend the kimchi dumplings and the ramen. OMG the ice cream with the chocolate cake was insane!

I was a raw vegan for 4 years and have visited my share of raw vegan restaurants. However, none were as amazing as M.A.K.E. It is different than any other raw restaurant I have ever been... None of those heavy creams... The dishes were light...More
