Ya simply have to order a hot dog on a stick and fresh squeezed lemonade here....this is where it all began! Go for it, everything is quality and cooked to order from this humble location. Service and food were great!

Walked by and we were hungry. Good decent turkey corn dog and delicious homemade lemonade. Overall, not bad.

This stand has been around for decades. Don't miss it. The hot dogs are great and you can taste a bit of history.

Long line for these hot dogs, but it was good. This is a stand where you could eat hot dogs and fries anytime you want, not a restaurant. The lemonade was very refreshing. This is strictly beach food, either before or after you go to the beach or pier. The 2 girls working were swamped, therefore the long lines.

I don't eat hot dogs or corn dogs, but I make an exception here! They are so delicious and fresh, and I have been coming here for 30 years when I visit LA. Something about this place gets me everytime. Best snack ever!!!

I started coming with my grandmother in the 1960s. The lemonade is always fantastic and now they have cheese sticks. Imagine a grilled cheese but instead on bread you get delicious corn meal batter fried to perfection filled with melted cheese (American or pepper jack. The line is always long but worth the wait. The limited selection includes regular corn... More

I have been coming back to this place for years and I love it each time. It's a perfect way to end a biking trip or for a treat as you walk along the beach.

I was expecting something really different...but it was a hot dog. And expensive. Should have saved my money.

This is the first visit to Hot Dog on a Stick and I was not disappointed....I do not eat hotdogs and I do not eat fried foods. But I gave it a chance and it was great. Wish I could have another

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
