We stopped in just to see. Everyone was awesome, so we stayed. Ordered food. It was very good and would love to eat here again

Excellent pizza, salad, antipasto and veal dishes. We always make it a point to visit Bruno's when in Santa Monica. We are never disappointed. FYI: the leftover pizza is great served cold the next morning! The restaurant is dated, but there is a charming ambiance and the service is great. If you want to step back in time and eat... More

I really enjoyed my meal here. The owner and his help were very friendly. I had the chicken vesuvio. It had a great flavor. I really enjoyed it. It's an old school place. Worth a try.

No frills, But Great Pizza! Whole pies only, however you will easily eat the rest at a later time. The owners are sweet and authentic people.

We dined at Bruno's twice, as it was quite near our hotel. The place appears to be family owned, as the same charming woman welcomed and served us each night. The portions are generous and very good, the pizzas excellent, and the small room is warm and informal with checked tablecloths and candles. They are also open until 10:30, and... More

Nothing fancy but good food and good service and not too pricey. Has a local feel of a family run business. Good garlic bread and decent pizza (from Chicago so hard to find great pizza outside of our hometown). Ordered a 12 inch pizza but was much larger. We were looking to chill and thus pizza and beer meal hit... More

A simple, old fashioned, good value Italian eaterie. The decor is dated but the food is homely, tasty and good value. Well worth a visit if you are on a budget as prices are excellent compared to most places in Santa Monica. Don't be put off by how the place looks. The menu isn't large but the food we ordered... This is a small family restaurant, good value, we had a bottle of wine at $24. that was $64 the night before . Our pizza was delicious & 12 inches plenty for one. Honestly, if you are in the neighbourhood find it, & go !!

Nice small business, good prices, good location free parking and you'll get your money's worth. Close to the pier, give it a try.

Was advised by a local that Bruno's was great feed and shouldn't be discounted. Shop front is plain and most people would walk pass however this is an big mistake. Authentic Italian fare served with traditional Italian family love. Pizza's were good, pasta was awesome and the freshly baked bread was warm lite and fluffy! Kids were accommodated easily and... Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
