I love Sam's. This is a great breakfast spot. You will not leave hungry! It's a local favorite but also good for tourists that are looking for a great breakfast spot. I love the chicken fried steak with extra gravy and the homemade HUGE biscuits!

I've been there dozens of times for breakfast.Their early breakfast is a fantastic deal, and is done just about perfectly. I always judge a breakfast first by how well they can make over medium and poached eggs. They never got my eggs wrong. Their country potatoes are really good, and their house salsa is a great accompaniment. The bacon is... More

Liver and onions were the special of the day so Sam's got off to a great start. I wish I had noticed that split pea with ham was the soup of the day. That said, I probably would have overeaten if I did notice.

Sam's for play is a pretty large dinner and always very busy and lively when I go for breakfast. I have never tried the lunch but it looks good from the pictures on the menu which has a very wide selection. They make a mean chili omelet, waffles are awesome but my favorite are the good old fashioned pancakes. The... More

Sam's may not be fancy, but if you want a good breakfast lunch or dinner, it's the place to go. Not too pricey and foods that are easily recognizable to most Americans. Service has always been good for me there and food consistent, too.

So nice to feel your in a friendly, local cafe rather than a chain resturant. The food choices are huge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly, the food is cooked to order the old fashion way. Prices are great for this type of service and quality.

Ask a local for a good place for breakfast, and many will tell you “Sams”…next to the Rodeway Inn…so I looked up the website - checked it out it advertised and highlighted “delicious American Home Style food in a casual comfortable atmosphere” – so why not? Right..? When I arrived it is a brightly painted white and blue building, a... More

First time at Sam's. Was promptly seated. The waitress, an older charming Hispanic lady with a great sense of humor, greeted me with a smile and the menu. Brought coffee right away. Ordered eggs w/spuds (very tasty). Will definitely return when in Santa Rosa again.
