My wife and I go here once or twice a year. The food is always great, as is the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. It's expensive, but we've always had a great experience here.

We hadn't been to John Ash for quite a few years, so as a birthday treat (and a Travelzoo coupon incentive) we went there last night. Quite a few changes to the decor, much more airy and open feel with greater natural light. We didn't...More

Went with friends with a coupon and shared plates with my wife. The chili relleno was fabulous and the large (two) portion was easy to share. We each had the excellent trio of foie gras. That should have been enough for dinner on its own,...More

We stayed at Vintner's Inn so eating at John Ash both nights was a no brainer. Plus, we had $50 vouchers for food both nights. That said, the menu was diverse and the two of us with dairy allergies had no problem ordering dinner. The...More

We had a reservation for 8:30, but got there early to see if we could get a table. They were still booked up, but the hostess sat us at a nice, quaint bar table away from the bar itself. The menu has a great selection...More
