My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we found this place. Love the breakfast! Relaxed atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and the food is really good! We try to take a ride out there weekly now. It's a beautiful drive out from Oceanside and the view is very pretty.

Stopped for lunch on our way to Mt Palomar. Food was good and we had a nice view of the lake while we ate. Portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. Had a lodge feel to it with a rustic touch.

After a long ride I like to have a decent breakfast. I'm always looking for good service and a meal. Well don't go here.Service was poor. The wait for a simple scramble eggs and beacon took for ever and there was only two tables and me. I counted 8 people working or looking scared and helpless.

Driving the backroads from Palm Springs to Fallbrook, I ended up on Highway 76 driving along Lake Henshaw . . . and I was hungry. Stopped at The Round Up Grill and said "yes" to myself since it was the only option. GLAD I stopped. Great atmosphere and wonderful food. This would be a great stop if you are doing... More

Always a favorite. Food never disappoints. Friendly staff. Burgers are tasty. We start our Saturday's with the hearty breakfast burrito. Look forward to trying all the menu offerings.

Delightful BBQ spot in Santa Ysabel! It is a favorite of car clubs and motorcyclists. I've visited RoundUp twice in the past 3 weeks. The place has new owners and keeps getting better. Good job! The St Louis style ribs are good. They are not yet falling off the bones, which is what I look for in bbq ribs. The... More

We make it a point to stop here on our way to see the night sky (stars) on Palomar Mountain. (Too bad Lake Henshaw is just a puddle, or it would be more scenic from the booths by the large windows.) Generous portions served in a "nice" setting. (Service & atmosphere is laid-back and courteous/biker-friendly.) Country music & BBQ ...... More

We have passed this place many times but never went in. We were pleasantly surprised by the décor and found out it had recently been taken over by new management. Excellent burgers and a huge mound of onion rings (an additional charge). Servers were very friendly and attentive. A bit pricey, but portions were huge. We will definitely return.

Delicious food, super nice waitress, all around great experience. Went on a bicycle tour to Lake Henshaw and stayed at the cabins then ate dinner at The Round Up. What a surprise. Great portions, tasty, clean. We will definitely go again. Locals - worth the drive. What a view also. Can't wait to try breakfast one day.

Missed the sign but found it near the fire station. Service was attentive, food was served quickly and hot n tasty. Try a bowl of their chili, the pulled chicken sandwich was good also.

Casual, full-service restaurant serving contemporary American country fare. Food is made from scratch, the old-fashioned way. Food is made to order and may take a bit longer than a fast-food restaurant. Prime meats, angus beef, housemade dressings, sauces and salsas.
