We enjoyed our experience at Sushi Ran! Great quality food! Amazing friendly staff! A must when visiting SF. Be sure to make reservations or if walk in arrive early! It's always busy!

Stopped here in the way up to wine country. Unique town located on the cliffs above the water. Really good fish with good service.

We had a lovely meal at Sushi Ran. Great service and very welcoming. We eat lots of sushi and have to say the 'crunch' sushi was one of the best we have eve tasted. The tuna, eggplant with miso and black cod were all divine. Will definitely crave them when we're back in London!

We have our Friday night sushi dinners at the bar. Windsor is the best! My husband loves the sushi rolls and I am partial to the Miso soup and tempura. Miso soup is def not from a package or frozen like other sushi places

The thickness of the sushi pieces were just perfect to get the flavor of the fish. Miso soup was good. The desserts were very good. I recommend the ice cream. Nice looking establishment. Reservation helps. The owner say they always leave 35% open for walk in. Earlier the better chance of getting in.

Windsor is hands down the most attentive bartender/server in town. She has the patience and the knowledge to get everything done w excellence and efficiency.

Here for a day trip. Was not expecting some of the best sushi. I would highly recommend this as a lunch spot. Particularly because it is away from the waterfront tourist crowd.

This unassuming little sushi place serves some divine fare. Apparently the fish arrives daily from Japan, I don't doubt it, as I was just blown away by the quality of my sashimi. Exquisite and absolutely recommended, but be aware. Good things come with a price

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We came for an early dinner with our 3 yr old. Staff handled him really well, bringing his food quickly and adjusting the pacing to match his attention span. We did omakase for the adults and found almost everything exquisite. Fish quality was excellent and the kitchen put some really interesting flavors together. Atmosphere was... More

Very fresh and tasty sushi. Yummy miso soup. Edamame is served cold and crunchy. Service was attentive. We ordered three mail and two pieces of nigiri ($5 per piece). The sushi rice, flavors, and presentation were all outstanding.
