With Covid lockdowns and all, this iconic restaurant of Sausalito re-invents its ways and still delivers on its exquisite menu! The calamari fritte is ALWAYS tender and melts in your mouth. The fish and chips is light and flakey while being fried in a mouthwatering...panko batter. I had these both while tailgating in the parking lot and enjoying the stunning views of the bay and San Francisco skyline!More

My wife and I were joined last Saturday for an evening of dining out. Due to the smoke, we dined inside at a corner table overlooking the Bay. Cocktails, Caesar Salads, and our seafood dinners were top notch. Our server was on his best and...taking care of our every needs including special food needs. Totally enjoyable!!More

I had not been to Spinnaker in over 20 years. The service was just OK, the food was excellent, and the view even better. It was nostalgic for us, but not sure I will rush back at any time.

The view is great but the restaurant has had better days. My wife and I live in Napa where we are spoiled with so many fine restaurants. The food and presentation were just OK and I'm sure that most tourists would be satisfied.

Can't beat the view. So if you're solely looking for a place with a great view then you cannot go wrong. But that's where it ends! The service at this place is just not great. We waited for at least 1/2 hr before someone even...visited our table. This is after repeatedly informing them that we haven't had our server come by. Even after getting our order in. The food took another 45 mins to arrive. If you weren't dissuaded by the service then wait till you get the food. The food was just below average. I would think for the price they should have some quality. Everything seemed like they just took it out of the freezer, microwaved it, and then put it on a plate. We ordered the scallops, crab cakes, and the butternut squash ravioli. The only thing edible in that was the ravioli, which I would rate as average. And that too maybe because the rest of it was sub-standard We also ordered the warm brie cheese with roasted garlic for appetizers. I am not sure where they got the cheese from but again here the quality was just bad. You'd expect you can't go wrong with brie.. well you discover new things!More

We came to Sausalito soon after Marin opened up hotels to tourists. We had to eat outside and enjoyed a lovely waterside table. We enjoyed seeing the boats and marine wildlife during dinner. It was much more enjoyable than eating next to the street. My...husband had the mixed grill and I had a salmon special with a lobster risotto. Our dinners were delicious, and we had attentive, pleasant service. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in spite of COVID and the bad air quality from the recent fires.More

I will always remember this restaurant; my visit was 52 years ago on September 4, 1968, it was my 15th birthday and i remember at the time there was a strict dress code and fortunately I was wearing a jacket and tie. The food was...great and the views spectacular and I remember it was pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend the Spinnaker to all visitors and locals alike.More

Last evening my wife and I celebrated our daughter's birthday at the Spinnaker, dining on the deck over the Bay. What a beautiful evening. I am glad it was since I left my jacket at home. Even though there were space heaters, we did not...need them since temperature was still in the low 70's, no smoke, and no wind. the service and food were always great. We enjoyed our martinis while Kym opened birthday cards. We had their fabulous Caesar Salad follow by main courses of macadamia nut crusted petrale sole and mine was the balsamic marinated poached salmon. This was followed by a birthday dessert of hot fudge sundae with candles. What a beautiful birthday dinner and evening for my daughter and us.More

Sitting on the deck of the Spinnaker enjoying the spectacular view and sounds of the seagulls is amazing. We even saw a few seal lions pop their heads out of the water! I have no problem paying top dollar at a good seafood restaurant but...the fact is Spinnaker is serving VERY mediocre, overpriced food. Even the two small pieces of bread they delivered to each person were hard as a rock. You’re simply paying for the backdrop. Not once did anyone even ask us how our meal was. Maybe they already knew the answer? Maybe it’s related to the pandemic and its usually better? Go for a drink and enjoy the surroundings. DO NOT go for the food.More

Sorry, you would have to call the restaurant directly with that question since my husband, our friends and I were only diners.
