I'm from Alaska and used to catch my own salmon and grill it on the beach. So I'm familiar with what fresh is all about. Unfortunately I am gluten intolerant and dairy free so that can really limit my options. I have paid for the...More

Lots of fresh seafood to choose from here. We had lunch, shared a crab cakes appetizer and then each of us had a soup & sandwich combo. The crab cakes are delicious but pricey - $8.50 each for a 2 inch crab cake. Hard to...More

Great location, food and staff. Went to Seal Beach for the day and decided to have lunch at Walt's Wharf. The food was well prepared and very good. I would recommend eating at this location.

If you make reservations, make sure you ask for a dining table upstairs. There are tables on both floors, but the lower level is also the bar. Very loud. Upstairs is not quiet, but it wasn’t bad. Food was very good, the drinks are expensive....More

Upstairs is more fine dining, downstairs is more casual. Our favorite spot is at a window table in the bar & people watch!

I have not found a good hotel right in downtown Seal Beach. I generally stay at the Hilton Hampton Inn on Seal Beach Blvd or the Best Western in Sunset Beach. In either case you would need to drive. Try to get to Main St... More

I always park on Main St, but get there around 4.30-5p. It is 2 hr parking but that limit ends at 6p. If not on Main, try Central Ave.

It's a high end place to dine. So if you have a child maybe who can sit without crying through a meal then yes. It's darker inside for atmosphere for romantic dining and i see business groups.
