We had read about this bakery and since we had already visited another of the Danish bakeries in Solvang, we decided to see this one. We were not impressed at all by the quality or the selection.

We stayed at the amazing Kronborg Inn where Olson's delivers fresh baked pastries every morning & it immediately inspired us to stop by this bakery. The pastries, strudels, breads everything is delicious! We tried it all & took a bucket of cookies home! Don't forget to stop by this bakery for the best danishes in town!

Thank you for the 5 Star Review and your patronage. Just a little history on Olsen's when Bent and Susy moved to Solvang in 1970 they brought with them the original recipes that are four generations old. The Butter Cookies recipe is from Bent's Great, Great, Great Grandfather they are "Authentic Danish Butter Cookies." Have an enjoyable and safe Holiday! More

Nice bakery with good selection of sweets! Only one kind of bread (plain or with seeds) not much to put it in though, very European style with home made stuff, good cinnamon rolls!

The pastries here were very good, especially the meringue roll. It was toasted meringue with whipped cream and raspberry jam rolled up. It was really, really good and light too. Fresh and delicious.

Okay, so I gave this place a five star because it's better than the other bakeries I tried in Solvang. Is it really "five star wow", nah, but it's very good, good enough for me to want to go back and get another Apple Strudel. We had tried several things. We loved the Apple strudel, apricot danish, and almond tart.... More

We bought cookies to take to our grandson and an assortment of pastries and cookies to share over the next few traveling days. Everything was wonderful.

What a cute little town and a cute little bakery with tons of delicious Danish treats. We tried the almond horn and the almond tart with a cup of tea. It was delicious, We purchased a few more to take back to our hotel room. I would definitely visit here again! Yummy!

First stop coming into town for coffee and Danish...last stop to stock up and take home. Apple strudel, rolls wheat bread, butter cookies. Oh my and worth every pound. Stop for breakfast: a hard roll, cheese, orange juice, coffee and Danish. You will love it.
