This is a very unassuming place with amazing food. When you order coffee they bring you 2 cups & the coffee is in a thermos. The coffee is very good.I had a fried egg sandwich that was so large I could not finish. My husband had the housemade hash with grits-also amazing. The next time we are in Sonoma we... More

So good! We got the fried chicken and briscuit platter (on special). Both were delicious! Also had a great beer list! Everything on the menu looked so good! Unexpected if you look at the outside, but everything was great!

We stopped here for a late lunch based on reviews. The place was packed! We only had to wait a short while then were seated at the bar. Most of the menu consisted of small plates, sandwiches, and breakfast items as well as BBQ specials of the day. We shared the hushpuppies which were outstanding! I ordered the brisket special... If you like local food, at great prices, served in a casual but friendly setting, then you will love it here. Really enjoyed the ham biscuit, great combo with ham, plum preserve and mustard! Lovely outdoor seating area and amazing cheap prices considering the quality. Will definitely be going back!

No doubting the freshness here- food, eggs and some meat is grown/raised right next to the restaurant. The food is wholesome and delicious. Some of the dishes are very affordable. It is decorated beautifully. The desserts are like still paintings- 7 layers of a maple cake- almost too pretty to eat. Salted caramel milkshakes are fantastic.

This place has it together. Outstanding service, a funky-fun culture that seems to cover the place and its people. Excellent coffee, served in a Thermos like Dad used to carry to work. Delicious biscuits, served in a bucket. Try the brisket hash or burger. Our server told me to try the burger and that I would not regret it. Although... More

If you did not first go to Trip Advisor or get a referral from someone, you would never think to stop here. From the outside, it is a total "hole in the wall" and one would likely drive right on by. Big mistake! We had an awesome meal. Our kids had chicken and biscuits and my wife and I got... More

We loved the Fremont for breakfast so much we went back. Very rustic shack-looking diner with the charm and ambiance of wine country. Staff was amazing and fun. Food and coffee was very good. Proof you can't judge a book by its cover.

Three adults and a baby had a delicious breakfast. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Nashville chicken (mild) and chicken and waffles were delicious. The menu was a bit more challenging for our vegetarian but she was happy with her choice. The deviled eggs were declared the best ever eaten!

We have been to the diner on several occasions and have been pleased enough to return; today, however, was not quite the delight we were hoping for. I had the fried chicken biscuit with sausage gravy, it was ok, chicken good, not enough gravy to "smother" the biscuit (as done in the south). My husband had the brisket hash and... More
