Solidly good food, fair prices for the ultra upscale area we were in, and a breathtaking morning view of the Pacific Ocean greeted us as we set down for lunch.

The breakfast was fine, with eggs and sausage. The service was fine , too. For some reason, they charge a dollar for water. This water was shipped from Norway, so it's not clear what the point was. In any case, that outraged my buddy and he refused to go back the next day.

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday on our way up to Pismo. It's an easy pit stop to get off/on the highway at this location. Good food, good service and good prices plus it was quick which is what my husband wanted! We had sandwiches and mimosa's on the patio. Jonathan Winters tuna is a big sandwich and... More

My son took me here after church on Sunday, Summerland Cafe is made out of a 1893 Victorian House. The owners did a wonderful job of making this house into a Family Restaurant.

We just happened upon this place and what a find! Charming, very good food, efficient service, reasonably priced. Can't wait to return.

Nice setting in old Victorian house with inside and veranda seating. Immediately put off when told couldn't have a glass of water because of the drought. Instead they sell water imported from Norway in heavy glass bottles. Too bad they can't just give tap water to people who ask for it. The crab cake salad was composed mostly of bitter... More

Popular stop for breakfast and lunch, especially on weekends when it tends to be crowded. Meals are hearty and generous. Dogs are welcome on the spacious outside seating areas.

Great little spot overlooking the Pacific. A rustic little spot in Summerland. Great for breakfast but on weekends it can get packed. On a Sunday's they place cowbells on the tables and as cyclists pass people ring the bells. The smoked salmon, onions and potato plate is a winner.

On our trips up the coast, we've been stopping at the Summerland Beach Cafe for almost 25 years now and it never fails to satisfy our tummies and senses and warm our souls. The food is always exceptional - and fast - and the service is always great. It's popular and sometimes there's a wait for a table, but it's... More
