I have never had fondue before so this was a first for my boyfriend and I. The cheese options they had were great and they weren't your basic cheese choices. They had many spices and other things in them to make it delicious. They also...More

Had Theater tickets and went to Rok for dinner before show. Service was fine and the food was fine except a little pricey. The experience of having to cook your own dinner on a rock was just a little to much work for us at...More

I came here with a friend for the first time for dinner. They offered vegetarian dishes and that was the reason I agreed to go. It was during the week night so there wasn't a lot of people there. I ordered the portabella mushroom, sauted...More

We went here on a Saturday night for dinner. The restaurant was reasonably busy, but not every table was full. (7pm) The concept is interesting- they bring your food out on a slab of granite, and you can leave it on the hot rock until...More

I love the idea of cooking my own meal on a steaming rock. Unfortunately the concept doesn't seem to scale for large groups. My most recent visit to Rok showed how challenging it is for this restaurant to provide a consistent level of service for...More

It's a lot of fun to cook your own food on a lava rock, but the prices are not cheap. It has cheese fondue for appetizer, and chocolate fondue for desserts.

If you are looking for creative ways to spend stacks of cash lying around the house, this is not a bad option. The fun part of the meal--cooking your food on a table-side "rock"--is indeed a novelty, but that experience is the chief benefit for...More

Irish native here, who visited this restaurant while holidaying in California, and it was without doubt, one of the best meals I had in my mouth long visit there. The fondue is heavenly here, and the chocolate fondue is also nice, if slightly heavy. All...More

Such a great spot! The service was superb (experienced, fun, petite, blonde women 😊) Delicious cocktails and the Swiss cheese fondue was delicious! The visit with the weather, food and drinks were overall a 5++

Description
Located on Historic Murphy Ave. in downtown Sunnyvale, Rok, Stone-Age Fondue & Steakhouse is a truly unique dining experience. Our signature specialty is called Hot Rok. Premium entrees are delivered to your table seared and sizzling on hot volcanic Roks. Diners bask in the aroma as their entrees cook right before their eyes. Every bite is hot, juicy, and delicious, ready to be enjoyed as is or dipped in a variety of our specially-created dipping sauces. We also offer the best part of fondue...cheese appetizer fondues and chocolate dessert fondues. If you combine Hot Rok with fondue in a pot (we call it the Rok n Pot) we guarantee a wonderful evening of dining enjoyment. Our full bar features fruit-infused vodkas and a wine list that offers many varietals by the glass. If coming just for the Rok, you can be in and out in an hour. If enjoying the Rok n Pot, you should plan on approx. 2 hours. Please join us for the ultimate evening of dining enlightenment.
