A french dip, fries and root beer ran about $18. That seems kind of high for a little fast food style restaurant. Now the good news, the meat was fantastic. They use prime rib and it has this rich smokiness that's delicious. The au jus was great, the bread was nice and toasty. It's actually a really nice sandwich. The... More

Bad attitude. We went there about a week a week ago and spent about $30.00 for 2 specials. On the menu it says sandwich, fries and a drink as combo. Cool. I like Root beer and they have their own. I'd like to try it. So I ordered that. Then the guy taking the order give me major attitude. Like... More

Love Adamson's sandwiches! Always order for work events and they do not disappoint. Nicely prepared and delicious. Only problem we have ever had is with delivery - items being missed and have to be brought back but it is always worth the wait! Get there early before they run out of sandwich meat and plan to wait in line.

Love the food but tired of showing up there 30 minutes to an hour before closing and they are already closed. Last time I was there at 4:30 and they were already closed. Posted that hours are until 5:30.

When you want a quick note long restaurant wait for a French dip sandwich this is the place for just a bite. The meat is tender and tasty. The portion is good. My only complaint is that I wish it was open later and 7 days a week too!

This is a great little sandwich spot. A bit expensive for lunch between 16 and 18.00 for sandwich drink and fries. Good Au Jus, flavorful beef cut thin.

My hubby and I have been here before and love to visit when we come back to visit our daughter in Sunnyvale. The French dip prime rib is to die for! A must try!

This Sunnyvale institution gets busy, so plan ahead. Food: Prime rib sandwich was delicious. Meat had a smokey flavor and was very tender. Fries were tasty. Adamson’s house root beer is sweet but very good. Ambiance: Their building was a fast-food place. Dining area is tiny and always packed. There is a small outdoor patio as well. Place your order... $7 and this would be very good. Meat was good quality although could use more. Toasted bun good. Au jus had some secret ingredient I found boring so that was very disappointing because the bun/au jus experience is the whole reason to get a French Dip. At least au jus didn't have horrible burnt taste you find in a lot... More
