We returned to Tao Tao for dinner. They have the best Mai Tais. We ordered our favorite Dinner C. This comes with tossed shredded chicken salad, Won Ton Soup, Tao Tao Beef, Snow Peas with Water Chestnut, Pressed Almond Duck, and Fried Rice. There is complementary tea and fortune cookies. Serving size is generous so enough for a lunch (or... More

Have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. 2 must haves are the Tao Tao beef and the chicken salad. Enjoy a Mai Tai with your meal but only if you like strong drinks.

This is the best Chinese food in Sunnyvale. We normally have it as take out but the restaurant is nicely remodeled and great for any size group. The Tao Tao beef is incredible. Unless you are vegan you need to order it. The egg foo young is also one of my favorites. I also recommend the special chow mein and... More

Visited the restaurant with friends. Haven't been there in quite some time. The atmosphere has changed completely - not for the better. It used to be dark and romantic- now light and bright. That would have been OK if the food was the same. Unfortunately, quality has seriously diminished. The famous chicken salad was blah, needed lots of soy sauce... More

Have had lunch here and tried different dishes and they all have been good. Around Chinese New Year, 5 of us had dinner and chose there assortment dinner. All the dishes were very good. We really did not need all the food that we received so boxed it up and gave it to neighbor that was recovering from cancer. The... More

Six of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. We ordered 7 different items, of course it's a must have Tao Tao Beef and the Chicken salad!! The lemon chicken was just so-so but every other item was excellent, delicious, flavorful and fresh!

You've got to try this salad. It's delicious. This place reminds me of Hong Kong in the old days. Food served is really plentiful. Great place for trying lots of different dishes with friends.

This is an old established go to for Chinese food that gets overlooked in the mass of Murphy street restaurants. The best Chinese chicken salad hands down. I also love the flavor of the signature Tao Tao beef.

This was the worst Chinese good I've ever had. We started by ordered wontons, expecting cream cheese in them, especially for $8. Nope. It was just a plate of greasy deep fried crisps, each with a little brown spec (literally) of who knows what in it. It kind of resembled a tiny chunk of Arbys roast beef, but we couldn't... More
