I have not actually eaten there - I live a half mile away - we take out. They make great food and really pay attention to the mild, medium, hot (warning - start with mild). We love the Makhani chicken and the saag lamb. I also recommend the basmati rice, onion naan. If you really love garlic, try the garlic... More

Went there for my birthday treat. Tandoori taste was really good. It wasn't too spicy. Goat curry wasn't that good. Felt goat was not cooked completely. The curry taste was good. Liked the butter chicken and panner. Palak panner was also good. Not a good choice for vegetarians as you have very very less choices. Pakora was good. Halwa &... More

we went here for dinner Saturday night with very high hopes after receiving very good reviews from friends. But the place was just ok. We got the Saag which was good, and Paneer tikka masala which was not good atall, with runny gravy and a few paneer peices. The rotis and naan were okish and Vegetable biryani was more of... More

I won't be exaggerating if I say that 'Little Indian Cafe' is the best place for Indian food in San Francisco. I tried Indian food at so many places during my visit to San Francisco, but nothing was as closer to Indian food as the 'Little Indian Cafe'. Again Thanks to Abhishek - my dear friend in California, who made... More

4 months pregnant i had a craving to eat biryani and some new indian stuff, we decided to go here. We ordered chicken chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and plain naan and paneer tikka masala which was ok. Nothing extravagant about it. The chicken was hard which clearly meant it was undercooked. My order was chicken biryani. The rice... More

Did not try the lunch buffet here but we dropped to have dinner. We had ordered veg and chicken biriyani. Food was average. Would advice the management to keep the premise clean and provide water in clean glasses.

Excellent place. The food is fresh, authentic, delicious. The service is attentive and friendly and you the prices are very fair, to say the least.

It is a small place, that primarily gets its business from the two-three big software firms that lie within a 2-block radius. It closes down early at 9:00 PM, a little discouraging if you want to go out a little later in the evening, particular on a weekend evening. However, to a great extent, that is made up for by... The lunch buffet we had was just awesome. The kadhai paneer and chhole were delicious. The naan were properly cooked and hot served directly on the table. Must try out..
